Kayla Choi is a Licensed Professional Counseling in the State of New Jersey (#37PC00931600) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of New York (#013216-01). She completed her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nyack College’s Alliance Graduate School of Counseling and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland (College Park, MD).  Kayla believes in helping her clients by meeting them where they are at while empowering them in a safe and supportive environment. Bilingual in English and Korean, Kayla offers counseling services in both languages, and she is focused on issues related to, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationships and interpersonal conflicts, life transitions, grief & loss, and self-worth. Furthermore, she previously worked with people experiencing a variety of symptoms in either an inpatient psychiatric hospital or in an outpatient treatment facility. Prior to that, Kayla worked with children in an educational setting, including pre-kindergarten and Sunday school.
