Emil has worked alongside individuals and families battling depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment style related issues and grief. Furthermore, he has helped those with SMI (Severe Mental Illness) who are in need of specialized levels of care. Additionally, he has years of experience in helping men who struggle with pornography and sex addiction. He is experienced in running psychotherapy groups, lectures, and individual counseling. Moreover, Emil has done clinical work with individuals who suffer with substance use disorders in an inpatient rehab center, which has sharpened and refined his understanding of the cyclical nature of addiction, and the need for a higher power’s healing hand when addressing complex traumas, self-defeating core beliefs, and navigating life’s many uncertainties.

Emil is passionate about working with men and families who have experienced the harmful effects of porn and sex addiction. Emil credits Mark Laaser and Jay Stringer as key influencers on helping shape his understanding of the family system, and the hand it plays in influencing sex addiction. Emil has seen first hand the transformative and restorative work of God when He is allowed into those neglected, and often tender, parts of individual that people are ashamed of. For this reason, Emil is motivated to give back what God has given to him, through working with families and individuals coping with various forms of mental illness.
