Dr. Lisa Steiner, Ph.D. is passionate about helping adults, children, couples, and families have joyful and fulfilled lives. She completed her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Regent University and her MA in Counseling at Nyack College’s Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the States of New Jersey (License #37PC00373500) and Pennsylvania (License #PC017634), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the States of New York (License #004670) and Florida (Licensed #MH19246), a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland (License #LC14473), a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health in the State of South Dakota (License #LPC-MH30847), and a Certified Empowerment Coach, she is the Director of Wellsprings Counseling Center, LLC, the Founder of Wellsprings Ministry, Inc., and the Director of Wellsprings Coaching Services, LLC. Additionally, Dr. Steiner has a heart for higher education; she is on the Board of Trustees at Pillar College, and she worked full-time at Nyack College/Alliance University for seven years where she designed, launched, and directed their Online Masters in Mental Health Counseling program and taught students pursuing their MA in Counseling. She has written several peer-reviewed articles that have been published in APA Journals including “Spiritual factors predict state and trait anxiety” – Journal of Religion and Health (2016); “Effect of Infidelity, Initiator Status, and Spiritual Well-Being on Men’s Divorce Adjustment” – Journal of Divorce and Remarriage (2015); and “Effect of Age, Initiator Status, and Infidelity on Women’s Divorce Adjustment” – Journal of Divorce and Remarriage (2011). Furthermore, she has her MBA from Pace University and over twenty years of corporate experience, predominately in executive and leadership roles at IBM.
